1. Explanation of fees: The total fees above are due on the dates given. Of the totals listed above for the 3rd – 8th grade girls and boys, $750.00 are direct costs which are applied directly towards tournament and uniforms fees. The remaining amount of fees, $750/$1,050, are program fees. * If you live 45 miles outside of Ames, you would pay the reduced amount of fees (you are receiving a reduced amount of fees for additional travel expenses and reduced use of facility).
Of the totals listed above for High School girls and boys players, $600 are direct costs which are applied directly towards tournament and uniform fees. The remaining $600 is used for program fees. There are no reduced program fees for travel if a player lives 45 miles outside of Ames.
The program fees are used for building principle and interest payments, utilities, building maintenance, cleaning, etc. as well as a portion to pay our professional trainer and coaches. (please note: most of our team coaches are parents and many of those involved with AIA volunteer their time for the development of the players)
2. Multiple Children Discount: If you have multiple children in the program, child 1 (youngest child in program) pays according to the fee schedule above. Child 2 would pay full tournament entry and uniform fees. Child 2′s program fees would be 1/2 of the amount listed above. If you have three of more children in the program, they would each pay full tournament entry and uniform fees and no additional program fees.
**Scholarships (partial or full) may be available through the Iowa Youth Basketball Foundation upon request. These scholarships are limited and are to be used by the players that are in financial hardship and demonstrate the attributes of an AIA club member. (Finances should not be a reason that a player does not have the opportunity to participate with the All Iowa Attack.)
